We can get real technical and use some pretty big terms, but, in the end, most wives just want to know that Your Business (job, career, hobbies, et cetera) are not Your Mistress.

Before marriage, many husbands act like they are going to offer the world to their wives and treat them like the Queen of Sheba for the rest of their lives. Many wives are shocked to see that they are hardly treated like a princess, let alone a queen after the wedding day. In fact, they are horrified to see that in their husband’s minds, they have been dethroned and demoted from the royal palace. They have been replaced by jobs, careers, success, hobbies, video games, TV, and the list goes on.

Consequently, the wife that has been dethroned, feels devalued and often starts her quest to regain the throne. The problem is not with her motive, it is usually with her method. Instead of using the steps that we offer in our Audio CD series called How to Break the Cycle of Resentment and Anger, she often resorts to nagging, coercing, or manipulating her husband into restoring her back to her rightful place.

Just as a side note, a wise woman does not nag, coerce, or manipulate her husband into loving her, she just works at being more lovable. This is huge!
